Project Scope

The specific requirements set forth by the Security Standards Council require that all PCI/PII data be safe guarded until destroyed. The project consisted of on site hard drive destruction by the R&R technician, helpdesk validation; custom scripts were used on site in the customer location and captured signatures for management.

Within 45 days of project start R&R:

• Recovered / destroyed over 15,000 hard drives
• Provided customer with S/N capture on every drive with site and server specific records
• Provided real-time, web-based updates as drives were destroyed
• On site technician ran pre and post scripts to ensure systems were not impacted
• Transported destroyed drives back to customer through R&R’s logistical chain of custody

Zero sites were negatively impacted during this high risk project which was executed with exceptional diligence and efficiency.
