  • Customer Requirement: To provide counter to counter delivery of Lexmark printers and cartridges to store sites with a requirement of <1% Out of Box Failures (OBF).

Project Scope

The customer asked R&R to provide counter to counter delivery service to eliminate the high rate of OBFs. R&R hand loaded, unloaded and delivered over 3,200 printers and 3200 Printer Cartridges to over 2,200 locations with less than 10 OBF’s reported, < .005%.

Within 60 days of project start R&R:
  • Completed warehousing of over 3,200 printers which included storage, labeling, shipping and tracking of inventory
  • Coordinated with installers to provide efficient and optimal delivery schedule
  • Created daily delivery and status reports for customer in addition to our automated, web based delivery completion reports
  • Finished rollout on schedule and surpassed target goal of <1% OBF’s

R&R executed with zero exceptions of shipping and <.005% OBF’s.
